Centre members work on research projects centered around several research strands:

Programming & Robotics concerning concepts, tools, techniques and pedagogical approaches in the area of programming, digital making, physical computing and robotics covering research in school, higher education and in informal learning contexts. This aims at developing our theoretical understanding of concepts and pedagogy.

Digital equity concerning accessibility of computing to all regardless of gender, disability or social class extending to all age groups including school children.

Data and education concerning the need for work to develop an understanding of big data and data science in education as data is increasingly becoming a key competence for all students both as a core component of socio-technically aware citizenship and in employment.
